Trust & Safety

At FamCircle, we believe the voice of the older adult is essential. We involve them in decisions whenever possible to respect their wishes. If you are seeking assistance on behalf of a parent, we will first clarify the necessary permissions needed to proceed. Depending on the situation, we may require written consent or specific documents, which we will discuss with your family.

Consent & Senior Autonomy First

We never force an intervention. Every step is taken in respectful conversation with your parents, ensuring their preferences, privacy, and daily pace lead the way.

Strict Data Privacy (Metadata Only)

In full alignment with India's DPDP Act, we protect your family's confidentiality. During our readiness audits, we check operational continuity (such as whether a bank nominee is registered or an insurance card is active) without ever asking for or storing bank balances, passwords, or raw wealth data.

Vetted Partners & Clear Boundaries

Every local provider we coordinate—from home nurses to technicians—undergoes reference, skill, and background verification. While licensed clinical and technical execution sits with verified specialists, Family Circle stays accountable for scheduling, quality oversight, and transparent billing.

The FamCircle Protection Protocols

We do not leave your parents' safety to chance. Our operational protocols are designed to eliminate the risks associated with standard unorganized agencies.

01 | The "Zero-Cash" Home Protocol

Elderly parents are often pressured by local vendors to pay in cash or negotiate tips on the spot. We eliminate this. All third-party vendors are paid digitally by us through your pre-funded Operating Wallet. Your parents never have to handle cash, negotiate rates, or deal with payment stress at the door.

02 | Vendor Vetting & Redundancy

We do not rely on random internet searches. Every nursing bureau, driver, and handyman network we use is pre-vetted for local market reputation. More importantly, we maintain an "N+1 Redundancy." If a scheduled home nurse or attendant fails to confirm their shift, our system flags it, and we dispatch a backup provider before your parents are left stranded.

03 | Medical Independence

We are your operational proxy, not a hospital. We never push specific medications or unauthorized treatments. All clinical decisions remain strictly between your family and your registered medical practitioners. We simply ensure the logistics around those decisions run flawlessly.

Why We Created the Operating Wallet?

Elderly parents in India often face awkward negotiations, inflated quotes, or pressure to hand over cash when dealing with local technicians, drivers, or medical attendants at the door. At the same time, children living abroad hate hidden agency markups.

Our Zero-Markup Operating Wallet solves both problems:

01 | Pre-Fund a Small Float

Once we agree on a support plan, you deposit a modest, refundable operating balance (typically ₹5,000 to ₹10,000) into your family's dedicated ledger.

03 | Cashless Doorstep Execution

Your parents never have to reach for their wallet, count cash, or haggle at the door. Family Circle pays the verified vendor directly from your operating balance.

02 | Pre-Approved Scope & Rates

Before any third-party service is booked (whether a ₹600 plumber visit, a pharmacy refill, or a 12-hour nurse), we share the exact local Pune estimate with you on WhatsApp for a quick thumbs-up

04 | Original Receipts & 100% Refundability

Every deduction is logged in your shared statement with the original third-party bill/receipt attached. We add zero commission or markup to vendor bills—we earn strictly from our flat coordination fee. Unused wallet balances remain 100% yours and are refunded within 3 business days whenever requested.

How We Select and Monitor Every Provider?

We do not scrape unverified phone numbers off internet directories. Every healthcare bureau, diagnostic partner, driver, and home technician in our Pune network must pass our 4-Gate Quality Protocol before entering your parents' home:

Gate 1: Identity, License & Track-Record Verification

We verify clinical registrations and trade licenses for partner agencies, check government ID and local Pune address/police verification records for field staff, and validate at least two local client references.

Gate 2: Screening for Senior Empathy & Local Language Comfort

Technical skill is only half the requirement. We screen individuals for patience, respectful communication, and fluency in the languages your parents are most comfortable speaking (Marathi, Hindi, or English). Hurried, purely transactional operators are filtered out.

Gate 3: Pre-Visit Briefing & First-Touch Oversight

Your parents never have to explain their problem from scratch to a stranger. Before a provider arrives, Family Circle briefs them on the exact task, house rules, and sensitivity required. For ongoing care or major home modifications, we personally oversee the onboarding handover.

Gate 4: Live Attendance Tracking & "N+1" Backup Redundancy

We require time-stamped arrival and completion check-ins for scheduled visits. For critical services like home nursing or accompanied clinic visits, we always maintain a vetted secondary backup partner (N+1 Redundancy) so a sudden vendor cancellation never leaves your parents stranded.

Trust, Safety & Financial FAQs

1. Who is responsible if a third-party vendor does a poor job or misses a shift? We never hand you a phone number and walk away. While licensed medical treatments or specialized trade warranties sit with the respective clinical or technical provider, Family Circle takes full ownership of vendor coordination, quality auditing, and continuity. If an attendant is late or a technician's work is sub-par, we step in immediately, withhold vendor payment from the wallet until resolved, and deploy a replacement. 2. Do I need to open a bank account with you for the Operating Wallet? No. The Operating Wallet is a transparent advance expense ledger maintained for your family. You can top it up easily via UPI, Indian NetBanking, or international credit/debit cards, and view every rupee spent alongside digital receipts. 3. What if my parents refuse a service that I have requested from abroad? Respecting senior autonomy is our first rule. We never force an entry or an intervention without your parents' comfort and consent. If your parents are hesitant, we take a gentle, conversational approach—often starting with a small, helpful errand to build familiarity and trust at their pace. 4. How are my uploaded documents deleted after the Continuity Blueprint is delivered We follow a strict 7-Day Purge Protocol. Once your Blueprint report and Fridge Protocol are delivered and reviewed with you, all raw uploaded PDFs or images are permanently deleted from our workspace folders within 7 days. You can also trigger immediate deletion at any time by replying "DELETE" on WhatsApp or email.
